Getting to Mount Buller
Where is Mount Buller – Mt Buller is just 248kms north-east of Melbourne via Mansfield. Melbourne to Mount Buller is easily done.
Driving to Mount Buller must be done with caution in the snow season. Chains must be fitted to your car and you must watch out for the black ice that forms on the roads at elevation.
Some people find it easier to leave their car at Mansfield. Mansfield is located at the base of Mount Buller. A shuttle bus runs every 2 hours during the season taking a 1 hour to reach the summit.
A bus runs from Melbourne Australia on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday taking 3 hours and 45 minutes to the mountain.
